Welcome to the inaugural 2010 Congress Lowitja

The Board and staff of the Lowitja Institute – Australia's National institute for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Research, incorporating the Cooperative Research Centre for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health (CRCATSIH), invite you to nominate a delegate to attend the Congress from 23-24 March 2010, in Sydney.

The purpose of the Congress is:

• To showcase the successes and legacy of the former Cooperative Research Centre for Aboriginal Health and to demonstrate how the Lowitja Institute and CRCATSIH will continue to support research to improve Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health.
• To engage with, and inform our stakeholders on the future role of the Lowitja Institute and the CRCATSIH research programs.
• To seek your support and involvement by inviting you to consider becoming a formal member of the Lowitja Institute Congress.

This event will provide you with a comprehensive update on the research programs conducted by the CRCAH, will outline the new research agenda of the CRATSIH from 2010 to 2014, and detail how organisations and institutions can be involved in, and benefit from, both the CRCATSIH and the Lowitja Institute.
